About Us

Evil Twin Music was founded in 2017 and quickly established itself as one of Brazil’s leading music and audio production houses, creating and curating soundtracks for clients such as Nike, Budweiser, Google, Instagram, Ikea, Chanel, P&G, Peugeot and many others.
With their distinctive cosmopolitan São Paulo sound and a touch of leftfield Brazilian attitude, founders and brothers André and Murilo “Mura” Faria quickly established themselves as one of the most creative forces in the industry. They garnered numerous national and international awards, including One Show, Clio Awards, D&AD and Cannes Lions. In just three years, Meio & Mensagem, the most prominent advertising magazine in Latin America, placed them in their Top 10 list of audio production companies. In 2023, André was nominated as the 3rd best advertising music professional in Brazil.
Most notably Evil Twin were behind the hugely successful Tear For Fears’s remix of “Everybody Wants To Rule The Word” for Budweiser’s World Cup campaign in 2022. That same song was used in all #bringhomethebud cases that won Grandprix all over the world. They were also behind official Nike 2018 Footbal World Cup “braziallian funk” commercial “Vai Na Brasileiragem” and most recently the Nike “Joga Para Sempre” in 2023 for the Woman’s World Cup.
Besides André’s creative background as a Creative Director and Copywriter at BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB and Mura’s expertise as electronic producer and DJ for three decades, the team in Brazil consists of four in house music producers, three sound FX/special effects producers and mixing engineers. In 2019 senior executive top producer (and Royal Academy ballerina) Juliana Tangary joined the board to build one of the sharpest account teams in the industry.
Evil Twin’s downtown Sāo Paulo offices also comprise of six in house recording studios and four dedicated account managers, assuring that all projects and handled time sensitively and efficiently. Though based in Brazil, Evil Twin keep their ears close to the ground of emerging artists from all over Latin America and keep growing an impressive roster of new talent.
Parallel with Evil Twin Music, André and Mura were also founders indie-electronic iconic band St. ALDO. They were BBC’s Radio One “Next Wave Band” for two times, opened to Radiohead in a crowded giant stadium, played at Primavera Sound Barcelona side by side the Mediterranean Sea and still have a lot of fun doing a Live Set perfomance sometimes.
